As much as I love candles, they do have their faults. Here are 6 reasons why I feel wax melts are better than candles.
No open flame. Wax melts are more accepted in office settings, apartments, and dorms because you can use an electric warmer to melt them, eliminating the dangers of an open flame candle.
Portable. Wax melts are lightweight, small, and easy to store and travel with.
Wax melts last longer. Wax melts are not exposed to direct flames (even when using tea light warmers) so as they melt, they release their scent at a slower rate than candles, making them last longer.
Cheaper. Wax melts are cheaper than candles but have the same quality of fragrance.
No Soot. As they melt, wax melts produce no soot.
Control. You can control how strong or weak the scent is by how many or how few wax cubes you use at a time. You can also mix scents together to create your own scents by melting 2 or more cubes of different scents together at the same time.
